His father, Lalo “El Gallo” Elizalde, lovingly named him “El Gallo de Oro.”

Valentin’s father, Lalo Elizalde, tragically met his untimely demise in a traffic accident at “La Curva de la Muerta” in Villa Juarez, Sonora.

Valentin Elizalde Life And Death

His father, Everardo “Lalo” Elizalde, a well-known singer, tragically died in a car accident on the infamous “Curve of Death” in Villa Juárez, Sonora.

However, on November 25, 2006, shortly after leaving a concert in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, his life was abruptly cut short.

Elizalde and his chauffeur and assistant were gunned down in a targeted attack.

The motive behind his murder is his performance of the corrido “A Mis Enemigos,” which was seen as provoking the drug trafficking gang Los Zetas.

In 2007, Valentin Elizalde received a posthumous nomination for the Grammy Awards, a testament to his talent and impact on the Regional Mexican music scene.
