The FBI said that a teenager from North Carolina who had been missing for more than a year had been found safely early on Sunday morning in a Georgia home 200 miles away.
FBI special agents allegedly discovered Hailey Burns, 17, living in Duluth with Michael Ren Wysolovski, 31, who was later apprehended. In May 2016, Hailey left her Ballantyne house alone at 16.
The FBI reported that she was eventually reunited with her family. There are things to be aware of regarding the peculiar situation, which still raises many concerns.

NC Teen Hailey Burns Missing Update
The Charlotte adolescent Hailey Burns, who had been missing for more than a year, was discovered on Sunday alive and was reunited with her family.
Burns, now 17 years old, was located at a residence in Duluth, Georgia, thanks to the information a special agent in Charlotte learned about.
According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, 31-year-old Michael Ren Wysolovski was detained and is being held on several state offenses.
Working closely with FBI Atlanta and the Gwinnett County Police Department, FBI Charlotte and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department will continue their investigation into Burns’ disappearance.
Burns was last seen at her Baldwin Drive home at 2:30 am on May 23, 2016, just before she vanished.
Her parents informed WSOC that they discovered their door was unlocked, and their daughter was gone when they got up that morning. She was found at a house in the 2700 block of Seneca Trail.
Wysoloyski is accused of several crimes, including false imprisonment, aggravated sodomy, interfering with custody, and first-degree deprivation of cruelty to children.
Jennifer Elmore, a neighbor, said Wysoloyski only recently moved into the house and kept to himself. Her family said Hailey fled with a man she met online after missing.
However, Wysolovski has been charged with false imprisonment, aggravated sodomy, cruelty to minors, deprivation, and interfering with custody, according to Fox5.
It is presently unknown whether Hailey was being held captive forcibly.

Burns, now 19 years old, opens out in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE about the terrifying months that followed her being seduced by a man she met online and her heroic escape two years prior.
Her horror started in May 2016 when she left her Charlotte, North Carolina, home to meet Michael Wysolovski, a 31-year-old man she had met online.
She claims that throughout her extended incarceration at various places in Georgia, she was raped, tormented, starved, and occasionally held for hours in a dog cage.
Fortunately, Burns discovered a photo she had once snapped from the window.
When Shaunna enlarges the image, she notices a “For Sale” sign. Additionally, she could make out a road sign that began with the letters “Sen.”
With these hints, Shaunna located a listing in Duluth, Georgia, which directed law enforcement to the house.
Wysolovski played video games in one area as Burns waited impatiently since he knew assistance was coming.
Wysolovski, 33, initially charged with rape, aggravated sodomy, and false imprisonment, entered a plea deal with Gwinnett County prosecutors and admitted to first-degree child abuse and interstate interference.
He received a 10-year probationary term instead of a prison sentence. He must live his entire life as a registered sexual offender.
