False Creek Irshaad Ikbal Missing After Nightclub And Found Death?

Irshaad Ikbal, who had been missing since a night out in downtown Vancouver in April, was found deceased in May.
Irshaad’s cousin Fouziah Khairati, who had acted as the family’s spokesperson during the search, shared the heartbreaking news in a social media post.
Ikbal family expressed gratitude to everyone who lent their hands in the search efforts.
The family had organized a massive campaign involving over 100 volunteers who distributed thousands of posters throughout downtown Vancouver.
To aid in his safe return, the family had offered a $20,000 reward.

False Creek Irshaad Ikbal Missing After Nightclub
The Vancouver Police Department appealed to the public for help locating Irshaad Ikbal, who had gone missing from the downtown core on Saturday morning in April.
According to reports, Mr. Ikbal was last seen around 2 am near the Plaza of Nations on Pacific Boulevard. He had separated from his friends after the nightclub and hadn’t been seen or heard from since.
Mr. Ikbal, standing at 5’8″ and weighing around 155 pounds, had a medium build, short black hair, hazel eyes, and a black beard.
At the time of his disappearance, he wore a white button-down shirt with a pink and blue pattern, light blue and ripped denim jeans, and white high-top Converse shoes.
His disappearance was considered out of character. The Vancouver Police had released an image of Mr. Ikbal from a security camera near Smithe and Beatty Street, hoping someone would recognize him.
Anyone with information about Mr. Ikbal’s whereabouts or who had been with him early Saturday morning was urged to contact the Vancouver Police Department immediately.
Irshaad Ikbal Found Death
On Thursday, May 18, 2023, Irshaad Ikbal’s body was found in Vancouver, BC.
Yes, unfortunately, after an intensive search that lasted nearly three weeks, the search for Irshaad Ikbal came to a tragic end with the discovery of his remains in False Creek yesterday evening.
Irshaad was found deceased in the water near the Plaza of Nations, and the discovery was made shortly before 6 pm on Thursday.
A concerned passerby dialed 9-1-1, and Vancouver Police officers immediately brought him to shore.
It is known that the BC Coroners Service has taken over the case and has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of Irshaad’s untimely death.
As of now, the cause remains undetermined.
Although Irshaad has been found, the investigation into his disappearance by the Vancouver Police Department remains ongoing.

Irshaad, lovingly known as “Irish,” actively participated in soccer through various BC soccer leagues, including the VMSL (Vancouver Metro Soccer League), BCMA (BC Muslim Association) soccer league, and the Fijian Soccer League.
He had a reputation for giving back to the community whenever he had the opportunity.
Irshaad held a special place within the family. His caring nature and heart of gold made him the centerpiece.
The family feels the void left by his absence and considers themselves incomplete without him.
