Amelia Kerr sister, Jess Kerr, is a professional cricketer who plays for Wellington and was selected for New Zealand’s national cricket squad in January 2020.

Amelia Charlotte Kerr is a talented cricketer from New Zealand, born on 13 October 2000. Currently, Kerr plays for Wellington and New Zealand in international cricket tournaments.

Jess Mackenzie Kerr is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for Wellington Blaze in domestic cricket. She is also the sister of Amelia Kerr, a well-known cricketer who currently plays for Wellington and New Zealand.

Jess debuted in Women’s One Day International (WODI) for New Zealand on 27 January 2020 against South Africa. She also made her Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut for New Zealand against South Africa on 9 February 2020.

In June 2020, she was awarded a central contract by New Zealand Cricket ahead of the 2020–21 season.

Jess was also named in New Zealand’s team for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup and the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

Although she was later ruled out of the tournament, Jess remains an accomplished cricketer and a critical New Zealand national team member.

Moreover, Amelia Kerr’s grandfather, Bruce Murray, was a New Zealand cricketer who opened for the country in 13 Tests between 1968 and 1971.
