In the clip, Judge Abby Stone, played by Melissa Rauch, informs her fiancé Rand that Dan is relocating and that she wants to throw him a farewell Party.
Despite Abby’s efforts to convince Dan to stay, he has decided to pursue his career path and move on.
Dan and Abby’s close friendship developed after she took over the courtroom that previously belonged to her late Father, Judge Harry Stones. Although Abby is sad to see Dan go, she cannot stop him from following his dreams.
She promises to throw him the most excellent goodbye Party the town has ever seen. The sneak peek ends with Abby jokingly telling Dan that he’s not going to the bayou before they say “bye you.”
