Kambliwas accused of verbally and physically assaulting his wife, Andrea Hewitt, while under the influence of alcohol at their home in Bandra, in the presence of their children.
Andrea reported that she was verbally abused and then hit in the head with the handle of a cooking pan. The altercation occurred on February 3, Friday, between 1 pm and 1.30 pm.
Despite the son attempting to intervene, drunk Vinod threw the handle of a broken frying pan at his wife, causing injury to her head.
She filed a similar allegation in 2015 against the Former cricketer, which implies Kambli has a long history of abuse.
