He also served as the Mayor of the City of Norbourne Estates in Jefferson County for eight years and two years on the Jefferson County League of Cities board.
Aside from his banking career, Elliott was involved in several charitable organizations and served on Goodwill Industries of Kentucky and Kentucky Educational Television boards.
