According to a 2017 report in Variety, Sofia Coppola, who directed The Beguiled, asked Dunst to lose weight for her part in the Civil War film.
Dunst, however, decided against doing it for several good reasons.
She said-
“Yeah, I gained weight for this role,” Dunst, 33, told Kimmel during a Monday appearance on the show. “But really, I just sat in my bed, watched Friday Night Lights and, like, ate.”
Actress Kirsten Dunst, now 39 and a mother of two, has established a strong career in Hollywood.
And on occasion, that has meant refusing requests from producers and directors to modify her appearance or do other things she doesn’t want to do.

She said, “I was in Calgary. “Because it was cold, I ordered a lot of pizza and grilled cheese. Just different cheeses and bread were blended.
