After discovering his son Eliel Adon Weaver’s remains in a freezer at their Chesterfield County, Virginia home in May 2021, Kassceen Weaver was taken into custody.

But during Eliel endured several wounds over time, according to a forensic anthropologist, the Chesterfield Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office informed the court in prior sessions.

They claimed that blunt force trauma was the child’s cause of death.

An anthropologist discovered the youngster had several rib fractures, a fractured skull, and other wounds despite the fact that his corpse had been in the freezer for between one and two years.

Weaver and his wife, Dina D. Weaver, 48, were detained and charged with conspiring to conceal a death and failing to provide immediate treatment to a child after police discovered Eliel’s body in a freezer in their garage in May.

Regarding Dina, who the authorities claim “was manipulated by her husband and suffered years of abuse” at his hands, Kassceen was also charged with maliciously injuring a female and domestic assault and battery. After posting bond, they were both subsequently freed.

According to Richmond ABC station WRIC, a Chesterfield, Virginia court on Monday rejected bond for Kassceen Weaver, 49, who was arrested on Friday on charges of felony murder.

Aggravated malicious wounding, child abuse, and negligence in the death of his son Eliel Adon Weaver.

Although the child’s precise age has not been disclosed, police have stated that he was under the age of five when he died.

Authorities remembered checking many freezers in the Weavers’ garage. They discovered a box hidden deep within one of the freezers, which they thought contained human remains, according to the article.

“According to police testimony in court, the child’s remains were wrapped in a sheet and adult clothes, knotted with twine, and then put into a bag. The bag was put inside a tightly closed plastic bag.
