The 24-year-old Indian student who was stabbed on October 29 at a fitness club in the US state of Indiana passed away on Wednesday from his wounds at a hospital.

No Jordan Andrade is not Indian. His origins are still unknown because the police are still investigating the matter.
Porter Township resident Andrade told the police that he requested a massage and that another man was seated when he entered the Planet Fitness club’s massage area.
Pucha did not talk to or approach Andrade before the attack, according to the police, but the 24-year-old attacker alleged “someone” had warned him the man was dangerous.
Claiming to be a former football player for his high school, Andrade called the victim “pretty little.”
Andrade was taken into custody by the police for aggravated violence and attempted murder.

Jordan Andrade Murder Charges
The accused is facing charges of both aggravated violence and attempted murder. According to recently filed accusations in the case, Andrade allegedly informed the police that Varun “was going to assassinate” him.
Varun and Andrade had never talked before the attack, but Andrade claimed to the police that “someone” had warned him that Varun was “threatening“.
Andrade claimed to have entered the gym’s massage area and seen Varun, whom he did not know but thought to be “a little weird”, the police said.
He insisted that Varun had threatened him and responded appropriately, saying that he had “just reacted”.
According to the accused, Varun did not start any physical contact during the entire fight.
He said that Varun’s attempt to push him away after Andrade had started the attack was the only time they made physical contact.
Andrade insisted that his actions were self-defence, characterizing himself as a “defensive fighter” who used a knife to take out a threat.
When questioned further about the specifics of the attack, Andrade is said to have given the evasive response, “Uh, I just put it through.”
According to authorities, Andrade reportedly said, “I don’t even want to say it” when pressed more about the nature of the attack. “It was in the head.”
The 24-year-old admitted taking the knife, which he usually carries around for opening boxes at Menards, out of his pocket.
Who Was Varun Raj Pucha?
The attacker, Jordan Andrade, gave 24-year-old Varun Raj Pucha a knife wound to the head while he was studying computer science at Valparaiso University.
In August 2022, Varun, earning a master’s degree in computer science, left for the United States.
Once he finished his course the following year, he was supposed to head back to his hometown of Khammam in Telangana. His cousin told PTI that following the incident, his condition did not get better.
Before passing away, he was unconscious at a Fort Wayne hospital and could only move one side of his body.
While Pucha’s parents and most of his family reside in India, a few of his relatives are in the US.
Pucha moved to Indiana almost a year ago intending to obtain a top-notch education.
