Cindy Anderson, a 20-year-old from Toledo, Ohio, experienced many terrifying visions in 1980.

The friend she opens the door for in one episode violates her confidence. Christine Savidge, Cindy’s sister, overheard Cindy discussing her dreams.

Cindy showed up for work on August 4, 1981, as usual. She worked as a legal secretary and typically spent the mornings alone in the office.

She always kept the door locked. For her to notify the store next door if there was a problem, a bell had even been installed at her desk.

The things that happened before Cindy disappeared made Cindy uncomfortable. The words “I LOVE YOU CINDY BY GW” were scrawled in large letters on the wall in front of her office window ten months prior.

Cindy and her coworkers were troubled by the message. The communication seemed explicitly tailored for her.

Ironically, she had scribbled her name, Cindy, beside her desk. She was unaware of any individuals bearing the initials GW. It took six months to remove the writing.

Is Cynthia Anderson Found Yet?

Cindy vanished without a trace. There was nobody, no farewell note, and no sign of her whereabouts or motive for going missing.

The authorities pressured the woman to provide more details and the home’s address. She hangs up because she is too afraid to say anything. She called back later.

She quickly hung up after being prodded once again for more details. The police looked for the houses, but they were unsuccessful.

A man identified himself as the author of the messages on the wall. He clarified that another Cynthia, not the missing Cynthia, was the intended recipient of the texts. The person was never put on trial for anything.

The legal practice employed a maintenance worker as well. He went by the moniker GW. He had access to the building and the keys. Although he was interrogated, no charges were brought against him.

The case is still classified as missing because no charges have ever been brought. Her family still has faith that she is alive.

Some people think that a stalker who had been keeping tabs on Anderson for months, if not longer, was the author of the mysterious love letter because the person who wrote it was never located.

Despite speaking with others who shared those initials, authorities could never identify this GW person.

Although this has never been proven, many have hypothesized that the person who wrote the graffiti also threatened Anderson.
