Chattaroy is feeling sad right now. Gary Copley, who was super loved in our town, passed away.

You might know him as the excellent Copley Brothers Bluegrass Band musician. He was just 64 years old when he left us.

Gary grew up here in Chattaroy, and he never really left. He loved his hometown and his people.

He was famous for playing the banjo and making beautiful music with his brothers in the band.

Whenever they played, everyone would gather around to listen. It was like magic.
