In 2018, he married his longtime girlfriend, Daria Chernyshkova, who works as his assistant.

Later in October 2022, the couple announced the birth of their daughter.

Medvedev credits his marriage for improving his tennis results, saying that he and Daria work for each other, and she helps him procure travel visas, which is not easy with a Russian passport.
