His father, Melvin Anthony Allick II, swam at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), while his mother, Colleen Ziegelbein, played basketball at Northwest Missouri State.

Age And High School of Josiah

Josiah Allick is a gifted and versatile athlete who has excelled in multiple sports during his high school career at Lincoln North Star High School.

Born on June 2, 2001, Allick is currently 22 years old. He was a standout player on the school’s basketball team, averaging 15.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive 65% from the floor.

He was a force on the court and was recognized for his performances by being named First-team All-Lincoln City.

He also set school records for rebounds in a season (255) and a single game (18).

In addition to basketball, Allick also played football and track & field for Lincoln North Star.

Allick: Kansas City (2019 – 2022)

Josiah Allick was a college basketball player from 2019 to 2022. He began his college career at Kansas City, where he played for three seasons.

During his freshman year in 2019-20, he appeared in 30 games, making 12 starts and averaging 5.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

He improved significantly in his sophomore season in 2020-21, starting 22 games and averaging 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

He was named honorable mention All-Summit League and led the league with a 57.3 field goal percentage.

In his junior year in 2021-22, Allick played in 17 games, starting 16, but missed 14 games mid-season due to injury.

He had a season-high of 21 points in the season-opener at Minnesota and in a game against South Dakota State and had 18 points and season-high 12 rebounds in a game against South Dakota.

Josiah Allick transferred to New Mexico in May of 2022 after three seasons at Kansas City.

Allick can showcase his skills and talent in a new environment, which could be a fresh start in his basketball career.

It’s not yet known how he will adapt to the new team and system, but he has a chance to prove himself and make an impact for the team.
