Sello Sebotsane was born in Tshwane, South Africa, on October 23, 1970. He graduated from the Tshwane University of Technology with a National Diploma in Speech and Drama.

Sello Sebotsane’s wife, Shoki Sebotsane (born August 10, 1977), is a well-known South African Actress.

Shoki has been praised for her role as Celia Kunutu in the soap Skeem Saam, for which she was nominated in the Golden Horn Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a TV Drama.

Unfortunately, the pair had to deal with a court case in 2016 after Sebotsane was charged with domestic violence and assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Two incidents of domestic violence at their Kibler Park home, south of Johannesburg, resulted in injuries to Shoki’s face, stomach and legs following a physical altercation between them.

After the incident, the celebrity couple divorced and moved on with their lives. None of them are remarried. 

Sello Sebotsane and Shoki Sebotsane remain active in raising awareness about domestic violence.

With their experience in the public eye, they understand the need to try and break the Stigma associated with the crime.

The ex-couple has donated to local charities and has attended events geared toward preventing domestic violence. 

They also use their influence to encourage other South African couples to seek help when it comes to navigating difficult times in their relationship.

Sello Sebotsane and Shoki Mmola share a daughter, Oratile Kutlwano. The couple’s daughter, Oratile Kutlwano, has developed a passion for music.

She has participated in several local singing competitions and spent her summer at the National Children’s Choir of SA in Pretoria.

Her parents have been very supportive of her endeavors and have encouraged her to pursue her dreams with dedication.

They even took her to visit music studios and meet some of South Africa’s top musicians to learn more about the industry. 

In addition to Oratile’s passion for singing, she also loves acting. She has appeared on television shows such as “Intersexions,” “Gauteng Maboneng,” and “Rise,” and is often featured in digital productions.

Her parents support her endeavors by attending her filming sets and taking her for castings when necessary.
