Levittown Sammar Khan Murder Arrest Charges: Shooting Husband Faisal Iqbal

Sammar Khan Murder:  Sammar Khan has been taken into custody and formally accused of committing criminal homicide. Her husband was found dead at a waterfront park in Bucks County on Tuesday. 

Sammar Khan is a 40 years old woman who lives in Levittown. She is charged with killing her husband at the Bristol Borough Wharf.

While the police were called to the wharf after a report of a shooting, they found Khan with blood on her clothes.

Meanwhile, her husband, Faisal Iqbal, was lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.

According to the sources, The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Bristol Borough Police Department conducted a thorough investigation, with Chief Deputy District Attorney Kristin McElroy assigned to prosecute the case.

Levittown Sammar Khan Murder Arrest Charges

A woman from Levittown, Sammar Khan, was arrested and charged with several offenses related to the shooting and murder of her husband, Faisal Iqbal, at a waterfront park in Bucks County.

The incident occurred at the Bristol Borough Wharf on Mill Street. Bristol Borough Police received a shooting report and arrived at the scene to find Sammar Khan with blood on her clothing.

They then discovered Faisal Iqbal, aged 38, in a grassy area near the parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, Iqbal was dead at the scene.

Witnesses revealed that Khan and Iqbal had spoken loudly in another language near the coastline before the shooting.

Shortly after hearing a popping sound, witnesses observed Iqbal standing up and struggling with Khan as additional gunshots were heard.

The couple then moved from the coastline towards the parking lot, where Iqbal instructed at least one witness to call 911.

Khan allegedly shot Iqbal twice, causing him to fall in the grassy area. She then approached him and fired two more shots into his torso and one into his head.

Following the incident, Khan was taken into custody and subsequently arraigned on multiple charges, including criminal homicide, possession of an instrument of crime, and recklessly endangering another person.

She was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility without the option of bail.

It remains unknown whether she has obtained legal representation at this time.

The precise motives behind the shooting have not been disclosed yet.

It all began when the Bristol Borough Police received a report of a shooting at the Bristol Borough Wharf on Tuesday morning.

When the officers arrived at the park, they found Sammar Khan with blood on her clothes and Faisal Iqbal lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.

Witnesses shared that Sammar Khan and Faisal Iqbal were talking near the coastline when suddenly a loud noise was heard.

This caused Iqbal to stand up and start struggling with Khan. More gunshots were heard, and the two walked toward the parking lot.

Iqbal asked someone to call 911, but then Khan shot him multiple times. He collapsed in a grassy area, and Khan went closer to reshoot him.

Unfortunately, Iqbal did not survive.

Detectives from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Bristol Borough Police Department investigated the case, and Chief Deputy District Attorney Kristin McElroy will handle the prosecution.
