Omaree Varela’s parents are Christopher Clewis and Synthia Varela-Casaus.

Omaree’s mother, Synthia Varela-Casaus, was sentenced to 40 years in prison for second-degree murder, while his stepfather, Stephen Casaus, received a 12-year sentence for child abuse resulting in death.
