Louis Vuitton’s first Asian Model-Actor Godfrey Gao dies at 35
The Taiwanese-born Canadian model and actor Godfrey Gao have recently been reported dead when filming a Chinese variety series. Recently his agency JetStar Entertainment confirmed this news on Weibo.
Soon after he collapsed, the model was rushed to the hospital, where he died after nearly three hours. Sources claim that Gao’s heart stopped for three minutes and was having an unfavourable health condition. During the incident, Godfrey was filming Chase Me -a night time variety series by Zheijang Television.
Even more, this versatile actor collapsed around 2 am on Wednesday, November 27. On the set, celebrities like boy band Fahrenheit member Calvin Chen and Hong Kong actor William Chan were also present.

“Gao’s heart stopped beating for a few minutes before it resumed. Then he was rushed to the hospital as soon as possible.”
Godfrey turned 35 years old this year on September 22. This model came to the limelight when he appeared in Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011. He is the first-ever Asian Model to front a French Luxury brand Campaign.
