The esteemed American actor, comedian, writer, producer and singer Edward Regan Murphy, more commonly known as Eddie Murphy, has enjoyed a long and successful career in the entertainment industry.

His first child, Eric, was born in 1989 to then-girlfriend Paulette McNeely. Bria, Murphy’s first daughter, was born in 1990 to his then-wife Nicole Mitchell.

Subsequently, Nicole Mitchell and Eddie Murphy married, and their two children, Miles and Shayne, were born in 1990 and 1994 respectively. 1999 saw yet another child, Zola, join the Murphy family, followed by Bella in 2002.
