After weeks of rumors, LJ Reyes finally gave her six-year relationship with Paolo Contis the all-clear on September 1.
The actress revealed she legally ended the relationship but claimed that Paolo had been estranged from her and their family since late 2020 in her first extended interview about the split.
LJ dodged whether a third party was involved by stating that “other people would be able to answer that.” She added that Paolo did not want to accept her and her children back despite her change of heart.
After Paolo unfollowed everyone on Instagram, including LJ, and deleted pictures of her from his profile, rumors that the two had broken up began circulating.
Paolo Contis Divorce Story With Ex-LJ Reyes
Internet users asserted that Contis simply mimicked the behavior of his first wife, former EB Babe dancer Lian Paz.
During her interview with Boy Abunda’s YouTube program, The Boy Abunda Talk Channel, Reyes declared her divorce from Contis.
She revealed how the pain of their split forced her to fly to the US and physically remove her children from the situation.
A video of Lian Paz recently went viral on social media, explaining why she broke up with Contis in 2012. Regarding their separation from Contis, LJ Reyes and Lian Paz made the same statement, according to internet users.
Reyes and Paz concurred that they wondered what they had done wrong when Contis “simply lost interest” in them.
