Josh was sentenced to 30 days of confinement on each charge, 24 months of supervision, 150 hours of community service, and completing a 24-month sex offender program.

His supervision was approved to be under the care of his grandfather. The incident has significantly impacted Josh’s criminal history and has been controversial in relation to his public persona on Deadliest Catch.
